keep getting calls from ths number. on the occasions i have answered it is silent and then rings, followed by someone asking for me by name. I asked who it was but connection was so bad it sounded like a big squawk. i did hear the word electricity though. they are very persistant!
I have the number call me three times and kept missing it. Same thing, called back and non stop busy.
Yeah. I have been getting a call last 2 weeks. They never leave a message and when I call back I get the engaged signal. So I SMS'd the phone number because I am pretty sure we can SMS land lines in AU. They should get a phone message waiting for them when their phone frees up. I basically told them to stop calling if they dont want to leave a message.
I finally saved the number to my phone as "Do Not Answer". Then it called again, so being male, I answered the "Do Not Call" number and it is BIGPOND!!!
Received call from this number 03 8416 1400 today, but missed call. Tried repeatedly to call back, but constantly engaged. Do not know who it is, but believe it is not someone I have given the number to, but rather some entity which has access to it. Missed earlier call, but no called ID on that one.
I mentioned to them all the issues and they are looking into it.

These rang me yesterday - asked for mrs Neave - I asked them which mrs neave they wanted as one lives in bristol, one has recently got married and moved with her hubby and I'm the only other mrs neave who was at the house - all I wanted was a first name so I could direct them - the guy said "oh okay" and hung up without asking for which mrs neave he wanted.
Was called recently from this number - easily checkable by dialling 1471. Most worryingly of all is that the Indian male voice asked for me by my name. I asked who he was, was told Health & Wellness Centre Kent, I said I don't know you and banged down the phone. Have received other phone calls from Indian males, a previous occasion it was supposed to be some kind of "financial service" etc. These nuisance callers are easily recognised because immediately they go into the "American-style friendly spiel" of trying to ask "how are you?". That's a dead give away, so immediately you hear that slam the phone down. Spread the word to all you know about these nuisance and threatening people.
I ring them back and get an unitelligible answer machine message - I leave a message saying if it's something genuine then please call back (could be something to do with mum's church friends)- if they're selling something I'm not interested.

I am on the TPS and never entertain unsolicited calls so how did they get hold of my number? I guess somewhere along the line I haven't ticked, or unticked a box, when I purchased something, you know under the terms and conditions, and no doubt my number has been sold on as someone likely to buy something!!!!! Wrong I buy when I'm ready and from whom I want to, not someone who writes or rings me!!!!!

I asked to speak to someone who could help me, and the representative hung up on me. I called my bank (RBC) to report all of this. The second representative of "Privacyplus" to whom I spoke admitted that they were having technical difficulties with their website - certainly doesn't make it easy to cancel a service!I just called and cancelled my credit card no time to wait if they will cancell they put the red flags up and this is to me is a fraud. I didn't speak to anyone about cancell membership because I couldn't get through?This happens somehow when trying to get a credit report online. It happened to me last year and again this year. I did NOT sign up for this account yet they somehow weasel their way in. Just call the number and cancel, they seem to be use to it.You'll have to go through a long auto directory, but just get to someone and tell them you have no idea what they do, you never signed up the the alleged account you have with them, you and want a full refund of everything they have charged you.
So when you call this number back, what information do I need on hand in order for them to cancel my 'membership' which I don't even have? Do you just give your mailing address and name and they will be able to do it? Anything else I might need to have on hand for when I call?

When I asked who was calling he replied that he was from Windows - I then asked how he got my phone number and was I going to be interested in the next thing he had to say!!! He hung up on me. I just get concerned about seniors who are scammed by someone like this. I would love to know how to stop these calls and besides I am on a "do not call list"

They called me and told me that they were getting reports of junk files being downloaded to my computer and would I please go to my computer so they could show me the files and the messages. I said I was busy (though I was on my computer at the time) and I would call them back. They told me to hold the line and they would get me their number and their e-mail address. I held on for a few seconds until I heard the dialtone. Hopefully I won't hear from them again.

I checked the caller ID, and a few tech forums, and then called my local police station to report the scam. I urge others to report this as well. The number is CA based, which makes it an Interpol issue as they are calling internationally to further this scam
So I lied, and said:" Before you say anymore, I should tell you that I am an IT expert and do you really want to continue this conversation."

He said he was with a team of 35 technicians working to solve my problems for Windows users. For starters, the team needs to be about 350,000 strong. I told him I did not trust him and that I refused to follow his instruction to just sit down in front of my computer and he would show me all the infections and malware. I told him I did not lodge a complaint about my computer with the "Windows Team". Finally, he said "Ma'am, so just get lost, f__k off"! Then HE hung up on ME! Lovely!! His last 7 words confirmed that he indeed was a scammer. First instincts are usually the ones to follow.

My stupid neighbor got a call from a 661 380 3000 number last night as we were watching a movie and stepped outside to take the call moments later we herd a loud crash from next door where she lives then she called my cell for help . She broke every plate in her kitchen because someone on the phone said they was a DJ and she was going to win 250 dollar in a smash for cash contest she belived him and broke everything then cut her foot open on the glass at the end of the call the said they needed her info to send her the money they transferred her to the AA number I laughed all night about it
I just got a call from this number and was thrilled to hear my son's voice! He was calling from overseas via Skype. Some of you may be getting calls at odd hours due to the time difference.
I agree with some below 661-380-3000 or 0001234567 are Skype numbers. as for them being idiots- in my case the calls come from my husband in Iraq there is a 8 hr time difference. Besides unless you keep getting calls from the same number try not to get annoyed, people do enter the wrong number sometimes.

started getting calls from them 2 weeks ago, about 5 at a time every few days, called back and picked ot be put on do not call list, but they kept calling. answered again today, it's a machine selling security systems with a voice response system, i said "stop calling" and the voice said "sorry, we have removed you # from our list" lets see if it sticks!
If you have a smart phone, just set it to redirect and it will auto sent to voice mail...since they don't leave messages, you won't be bothered by calls or messages.

started getting calls from them 2 weeks ago, about 5 at a time every few days, called back and picked ot be put on do not call list, but they kept calling. answered again today, it's a machine selling security systems with a voice response system, i said "stop calling" and the voice said "sorry, we have removed you # from our list" lets see if it sticks!
If you have a smart phone, just set it to redirect and it will auto sent to voice mail...since they don't leave messages, you won't be bothered by calls or messages.

When I call back, it offers me the chance to remove my phone # from their call list, and when I hit 1 to remove it, it hangs up. Then I continue to get calls. I get maybe 10 to 15 per day.

After repeatably telling him to remove my number he would not listen and tells me he gets this a lot and kept on talking. I started getting the calls right after I saw something on FB regarding southwest offering 2 free tix. The FB post was from known person so I applied and here I am stuck with this number who keeps on calling.
If you are on the Do Not Call list then file a COMPLAINT with the FTC! This stuff is only effective if everyone uses it!! If you don't make complaints on these numbers against the DNC then the list is pointless. Complaining here won't stop the calls(though it does help us figure out who/what these numbers are). I filed my complaint with the FTC after just 2 calls!!! Google Do Not Call complaint and fill out the form. Usually takes about 30 seconds.

Does anyone know how to block numbers on cell pones.If you have an android phone, a simply solution is to just save the number as a contact, name it "Do not answer" and simply set the contact setting to "Send to voicemail". Doing so will automatically ignore the number. You can use this trick to any number that you don't ever want to answer, just keep adding any unwanted numbers to the same contact name. That way your phone will never ring and it'd just say you have missed call from "Do Not Answer", which you can then simply ignore.I have the same problem! So I didn't give my name to the jerk and said it was probably some advanced computer system for scamming people to give out their identities. Then I hung up. I have had a conversation with this company Premier Energy Sales several months ago. I said at that time I had made my decision and wanted to be taken off their list. The person on the line talked over me when I asked for a supervisor and I did not get any acknowledgment of my request. Since the I have been called by this number 888-901-1379 and when I pick up no one is one the phone and when I try to call back I can not get through. This has been going on for at least three months. I thought there is a penalty for this type of harassment, especially I actually did request to have my name removed from their calling list.

Solomon Lindsey will hear from those of us on linkedin, which is where I found them. To make matters worse, the guy represented himself as calling on behalf of PECO and my next bill "will reflect a 15% discount" to my current bill. When I declined his invitation, he made it seem like I was stupid for not saving money. I know something he, or the other discount suppliers DON'T know - he can keep his 15% - my bills have been cut almost in 1/2 since the deregulation took place.

I said, "well we are not interested." He then said, "OH MY GOD.....OF COURSE YOU ARE HOME!!!" I just received a call from this number and hung up after my 3rd Hello. Just another calling service. I'm told these calling services need to make "XXX" number of calls every day. So they just call and hang up on you. Man I sure would want to be pay these guys to make calls for me.
Yep, call daily. Either they hang up or ask for the person handling the peco bill. When informed that person is an off-site owner of our company, they get billigerent. Demand numbers he can be reached, etc. Now I just annoy them until they decide to give up. Made a game out of it now..
they like to talk over you when you ask questions. the guy (sounded like a very uneducated early 20-something off of the street) gives quick and barely audible answers to your questions and was probably trained to make you feel stupid for not 'saving 10 %'. funny thing is - they didn't have my correct address. why would I do business with someone who treats their customer base like crap from the start? haha! told them not to call and they called right back. I put a curse on this company, they are doomed to fail or have horrible luck.

If you have been using your cell as a primary number, they will continue to call during the day. I have started saving numbers in my cell phone address book under headings like junkA, JunkB so that I don't have to keep dealing with them. Look at it and don't answer then
We get constant phone calls from this number trying to sell new electricity since PECO's cap is coming off January 1st. Several calls ago the gentleman was informed that since we are a car dealership in Pennsylvania PAA would be taking care of everything for us. Well, today he demanded to know the number and said he would keep calling us till he gets it! After a brief arguement I informed him to no longer call and if he did he would be violating FCC regulations. If this company was "helpful" then wouldn't he already know the numbers and more importantly already been contacted by PAA! Makes me wonder! Grrrrr....
