I get calls from this number too.
Does anyone know how to block numbers on cell pones.If you have an android phone, a simply solution is to just save the number as a contact, name it "Do not answer" and simply set the contact setting to "Send to voicemail". Doing so will automatically ignore the number. You can use this trick to any number that you don't ever want to answer, just keep adding any unwanted numbers to the same contact name. That way your phone will never ring and it'd just say you have missed call from "Do Not Answer", which you can then simply ignore.I have the same problem! My mom called our cellular provider (verizon) that said to go online and search safeguards. I looked into it but you can only block a number for 90 days not for good there is a block caller feature on mose cell phone..on my samsung it is at the bottom center of the display while viewing the numer you were called from.Call the National Do Not Call Number at (888) 382-1222 from the phone you want the calls to cease for and enter the prompts that you are told to enter. This takes about thirty seconds to one minute. If anyone you don't want to or don't know calls you on that number, they will be informed that you're on the "Do Not Call List" and if they're not invited by you previously, they're not welcome to call. They must then hang up. If they continue with the call after being informed of this fact, you have every right to turn them in and may even get part of the fine they pay for your trouble! If it's a business you deal with and want to talk to, they will ignore this message and continue with the call. If it's a random solicitor, they will know that they don't know you, were not invited by you to contact them, and that they risk the chance of getting a fine if they were to continue with this call.
